Parking:Parking is available on the Chardon Square - be sure to park on the east side of the square (near the log cabin) as this is all day parking. Other zones are 2 and 3 hour zones. The courthouse parking lot requires a county pass. The gravel parking lot on the other side of East Park Street is available for Juror parking with proper documentation
Directions:From the West – approach via U.S. Route 6 East (Water Street) – turn left on the east side of the square onto E. Park – the Geauga County Courthouse will be on your left
Restrictions:For your safety, and all persons entering the building, a sheriff is located at the entrance. Everyone will pass through a metal detector, a cursory check of all purses, packages, backpacks, etc. will be conducted

Special Access:Handicapped parking spaces are located on the east side of the courthouse and a ramp will lead you to the basement entrance. An elevator will then take you to your desired courtroom level

The criminal cases are all felonies which are the most serious crimes. Civil cases include personal injuries, business disputes, and property matters.
